Welcome to Junction Orthodontics. We are grateful you have considered us for your orthodontic needs. Dr. Jaclyn Scroggins and our friendly team are ready to provide you with a patient-specific, customized treatment plan using the most up-to-date orthodontic technology. We are excited to help you get your teeth on the right track!

Prior to Your First Office Visit

Before your appointment, you will receive an e-mail linking you to our registration page. Follow the link to register as a new patient, complete the medical/dental history, view our HIPPA policy, and complete the insurance information page as needed. If you do not have access to fill out the forms online, please arrive fifteen minutes before your appointment so you can complete the forms before your appointment begins. Please do not print out the documents and write in the answers; you must re-enter the information in the office.

During Your First Visit

Your first visit will begin with a set of photographs, a panoramic radiograph and a cephalometric radiograph, if needed. After the records are taken and a brief discussion of what brings the patient into our office, our treatment coordinator will present all the information to Dr. Scroggins for a thorough evaluation in order to determine possible courses of treatment. The treatment coordinator will then relay to the patient and family members (if present) the proposed treatment, timelines, office policies and a breakdown of the fees for the treatment recommended.

Dr. Scroggins will be available to answer any questions or go over any concerns the patient or family members may have at this time. You can expect this visit to last approximately forty minutes. While at your first visit, we will help you get acquainted with our office and learn about your orthodontic needs. We understand that each patient’s orthodontic concerns are different and we promise to give you a personalized treatment plan to address those needs.

What Happens Next?

If Dr. Scroggins determines that the patient is ready to begin treatment, we can discuss the timeline of appointments to move forward and schedule them for you. We can often complete digital scans and appliance fittings at the first office visit to save you time.

If Dr. Scroggins determines the patient is not ready for treatment, we will enter them into our recall program. We've designed our recall program to closely monitor the patient's growth and development. We'll then determine a timeline for the subsequent examination, and our system will notify you when it is time to return to our office. There is no charge to be a part of our recall system.

Once we've determined the necessary treatment and discussed the costs with you, we will put a payment plan in place. Ready to get started on the path to lifelong dental health? Contact us today, either online or by phone!
