Dr. Scroggins is a member of the American Association of Orthodontics.
Orthodontics is one of the nine specialties recognized by the American Dental Association. To become an orthodontist, Dr. Scroggins pursued an additional 30 months of specialty training beyond dental school to learn how to create beautiful, healthy, and lasting smiles. Dr. Scroggins practices orthodontics exclusively and has completed the requirements to become a specialty certificate in Orthodontics by the American Association of Orthodontists (only 1 in 3 orthodontists are Board Certified).

Patient Safety is our priority.
Dr. Scroggins and her team follow all CDC and ADA guidelines to ensure the safety of all of their patients. Our office uses only digital x-rays, which have been shown to drastically reduce radiation exposure to patients compared to conventional x-rays.

We strongly believe in the positive impact that orthodontics can have on people of all ages. We believe it so much that we offer free examinations for new patients so that you and your family can get the expert advice about treatment needs, treatment options and the timing of treatment before making this important investment.
Dr. Scroggins has a recall system for patients not ready for treatment.
Children should be evaluated at approximately 7 years old to determine if early treatment is necessary. There are some things like crossbites and underbites which should be addressed early, and others which are better treated in adolescence. If treatment is prescribed for a later time, your child will be periodically evaluated in an orthodontic guidance program where we will evaluate for proper growth and tooth eruption.

Orthodontics isn’t what it used to be. New, more efficient wires make the process quicker, more comfortable and with fewer visits. Clear braces offer a cosmetically pleasing alternative while aligner treatment such as common brands known like lnvisalign® offers the patient a brace-free option! And lnvisalign® now has a special treatment system just for teens.

Junction Orthodontics can offer a number of affordable payment options. For your convenience, we accept most insurance plans and will work hard to help you receive the maximum benefit from your dental insurance. We have partnered with OrthoFi to offer a payment slider that works best for your budget.
