Where personalized care meets modern smiles.

Prior to Your First Office Visit

Before your appointment, you will receive an e-mail linking you to our registration page. Follow the link to register as a new patient, complete the medical/dental history, view our HIPPA policy, and complete the insurance information page as needed. If you do not have access to fill out the forms online, please arrive fifteen minutes before your appointment so you can complete the forms before your appointment begins.

We’re unable to accept handwritten forms. If you've printed the documents, please re-enter the information using our office iPad when you arrive. This ensures everything is accurate and securely stored in our system. Thank you for your understanding!

During Your First Visit

At Junction Orthodontics, we want your first visit to be a comfortable, welcoming experience. Here’s what you can expect when you walk through our doors:

1. A Friendly Welcome and Office Tour
You’ll be greeted by our front desk team and taken on a brief tour of our office so you can get familiar with the space and feel right at home.

2. Meet Kacky, Our Treatment Coordinator
You’ll meet Kacky, our treatment coordinator, who will walk you through the visit, take your initial records, and answer any questions along the way.

3. Diagnostic Records
To help us understand your orthodontic needs, we’ll take a set of photographs, a panoramic X-ray, and a cephalometric X-ray. These images allow Dr. Scroggins to make a thorough and accurate diagnosis and treatment plan.

4. Personalized Evaluation by Dr. Scroggins
After reviewing your records, Dr. Scroggins will evaluate your case and determine possible treatment options tailored specifically to your needs and goals.

5. Detailed Discussion of Treatment and Costs
Kacky will go over the proposed treatment plan, estimated timeline, office policies, and a clear breakdown of fees. Dr. Scroggins will also be available to join the conversation, answer your questions, and make sure you feel informed and comfortable moving forward.

6. A Relaxed, Personal Experience
This initial appointment typically lasts about 40 minutes. Our goal is to make this the best and most informative part of your day. We take the time to get to know you and ensure you feel confident in the next steps.

What Happens Next?

If Dr. Scroggins determines that the patient is ready to begin treatment, we can discuss the timeline of appointments to move forward and schedule them for you. We can often complete digital scans and appliance fittings at the first office visit to save you time.

If Dr. Scroggins determines the patient is not ready for treatment, we will enter them into our recall program. We've designed our recall program to closely monitor the patient's growth and development. We'll then determine a timeline for the subsequent examination, and our system will notify you when it is time to return to our office. There is no charge to be a part of our recall system.

Once we've determined the necessary treatment and discussed the costs with you, we will put a payment plan in place. Ready to get started on the path to lifelong dental health? Contact us today, either online or by phone!
